Bobst Die Cutter Operator (Sacramento, CA)

Interpress Technologies is a manufacturer of packaging materials with plants in California, Wisconsin, and Texas. We are currently looking for an experienced Bobst Die cutter to join our team.

Responsibilities:  

  • Performance of manual task in the set-up, maintenance, and operation of die cutter equipment to accurately produce to customer specification.
  • Understand general knowledge of die cutting processes and equipment.
  • Reading job tickets to determine set up specifications and instructions.
  • Observe and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments are needed.
  • Perform all assigned work effectively and on schedule.
  • Daily/weekly/monthly maintenance tasks.
  • Assist Die Cutter Pressman with make-readies.
  • Coordinate efforts as part of the team to provide assistance to all co-workers (in all departments) as needed to maximize production efficiencies.
  • Follow established department policies, procedures, work instructions and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Possess high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Pass basic math and color test.
  • Able to follow directions.
  • Must be able to maintain good attendance.
  • Be willing to work overtime as needed.
  • 3-5 years experience

Machine Operator (Hudson, Wisconsin)

Interpress Technologies is a manufacturer of packaging materials with plants in California, Wisconsin, and Texas. We are currently looking for Machine Operators to join our team. The position is responsible for effective operation and first level maintenance of a machine making many of the single serve instant Oatmeal cups seen in virtually every market.

We currently have 1st and 2nd shift openings. The shift hours at this time are 10 hour shifts: (1st Shift: M-T 4:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. & 2nd Shift: M-T 2:45 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.) Overtime is usually available on Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Must be able to set up, operate, and perform preventative maintenance on machine.
  • Monitor equipment to ensure product is to specification.
  • Report issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor.
  • Ensure production deadlines are met.
  • Pack up completed products and prepares them for shipment.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Follow all GMP and safety procedures.
  • Able to wear required Personal Protective equipment when entering manufacturing.
  • Understand and use Quality Control Process.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must keep work area clean of debris.

Qualifications:

Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician (Hudson, Wisconsin)

Enjoy the diversity of a small company. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and qualified Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician to work in our facility in Hudson, Wisconsin.

Interpress Technologies is a manufacturer of packaging materials with plants in California, Wisconsin, and Texas. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician to join our team. The position’s main duties will to be diagnose, repair, and maintain all equipment in the production facility. To respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and repair the machinery in a timely manner. To perform planned and unscheduled work. Provide advice and training to new personnel or equipment operators. Make design improvements and process changes to improve overall production.

Requirements:

  • Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on approach to problem solving
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
  • Must have full availability as schedules may change or rotate.
  • Experience with metal fabrication, welding and lathe a plus.
  • Knowledge and ability to operate power and manual tools.
  • Excellent work history and attendance.
  • A team player that is highly disciplined with a strong work ethic.
  • Must possess superb attitude, be highly motivated and have excellent attention for details.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints and work orders.
  • Effectively diagnose problems, replace and/or repair and make needed adjustments.
  • Performs set-up, adjustment and timing of production equipment.
  • Effectively overhaul and rebuild equipment and components.
  • Be able to lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 50 lbs.
  • Wear all appropriate personal protective equipment, maintain a clean and safe work area and follow proper lifting procedures.
  • Trained and forklift driving qualified.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including completing appropriate paperwork related to the job.
  • Willing and able to work in hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates will possess a high school diploma with a minimum of five years of mechanical and electrical work experience in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining industrial/production equipment or any combination of education and experience.
